LITTLE CHEESE BALLS
8 Tablespoons butter or margarine

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste

Cayenne pepper to taste (optional)

1 egg ( beaten )

Combine the butter, flour, parmesan, salt, pepper and optional cayenne in a small bowl and mix to combine thoroughly. Form into balls about 1 inch in diameter and place on a greased baking sheet. Brush with the beaten egg and bake in a preheatd 375 degree oven until the tops are golden brown, about 15 minutes. Makes about 12 balls to serve 4 to 6 as an appetizer.

 

 

SWEET AND SOUR WINGS

1 medium package of chicken wings, split, wshed and pat dry.

( about 12 sings

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup milk

2 10 oz. bottles commercial sweet and sour sauce

Vegetable Cooking Spray

Preheat fryer to 375 degrees

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. In a medium bowl, add milk. Dredge chicken wing halves in flour mixture; then, in milk; and then, again into the flour mixture. Shake off any excess flour. Carefully place wing halves in fryer and fry wing halves for 10-12 minutes or until done.

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.

Drain wing halves on a platter lined with paper towels. In a lare bowl evenly coat wing halves with the sweet and sour sauce. place wing halves on a cookie sheet, which has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray and bake for 10 minutes. Serve wiing halves immediately with carrot sticks and celery sticks.

  

 

BBQ Wings

1 cup honey

1 (18oz) bottle regular flavored commercial BBQ Sauce

1 med. package chicken wings split, washed and pat dry

(about 12 wings)

1 cup all purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 cup milk

vegetable cooking spray

In a large bowl, combine honey and BBQ sauce, mixing well. Set aside

Preheat fryer to 375 degrees

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and pepper. In a medium bowl add milk. Dredge chicken wing halves in flour mixture, then in milk and then again into the flour mixture. Sake off any excess flour. Carefully place wing halves in fryer and fry wing halves for 10-12 minutes or until done.

Remove wing halves and drain them on a platter lined with paper towels in the large bowl that has the honey/barbeque sauce mixture. Add chicken wing halves, evenly coating each. Place coated wing halves on a cookie sheet which has been sprayed with vegetable cooking spray for 10 minutes. Serve wing halves immediately with carrot sticks and celery sticks.
