HONEY MUSTARD CHICKEN
1/3 Cup Dijon Mustard

1/3 Cup Honey

2 Tablespoons chopped fresh dill or

1 Tablespoon dried dill

1 Teaspoon freshly grated orange peel

1 Chicken (2 1/2 pound) quartered

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine mustard and honey in a small bowl. Stir in dill and orange peel. Line a baking sheet with foil. Place chicken skin side down on prepared pan. Brush sauce on top of chicken; coat well.

Turn chicken over. Gently pull back skin and brush meat with sauce. Gently pull skin back over sauce.

Brush skin with remaining sauce. Bake until juices run clear when thickest portion of meat is pierced with a knife, about 30 minutes.

 

 

Seven-Up Salad
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 small pkg. lime jello
1/4 cup sugar
3/4 Cup sugar
3/4 Cup boiling water
1 small can crushed pineapple
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 Cup 7-Up
1 cup pecans (chopped)

Mix jello, sugar, and boiling water together. Beat cream cheese till smooth.

Add jell mixture gradually to cream cheese. Add rest of ingredients and chill. Serves 6

HASHBROWN CASSEROLE
1/2 plus 1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 32 oz package frozen hashbrowns, thawed
1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese (grated)
1 cup sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
1 1/2 cups corn flakes, crushed

Melt 1/2 cup margarine and combine with all other ingredients except corn flakes. Place in 9"x13" baking dish. Melt 1/4 cup margarine and mix with corn flakes; sprinkle over top of potatoes. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 50 minutes.

ENGLISH PEA CASSEROLE
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1 cup chopped green pepper
2 cans English peas
1 small jar chopped pimento
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 package herb stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter

Melt margarine and saute celery, onion and pepper. Combine peas, onion mixture, pimento, chestnuts, soup and salt and pepper to taste. Put in a greased 12"x7" baking pan. Top with stuffing mix and pat butter on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
